ECDL Core 5.0

Starting from 01-Aug-11, all Web Editing and Image Editing tests are based on Syllabus 2.0.

The Malta Qualifications Framework & ECDL Certifications

ECDL Malta and the Malta Qualifications Council have agreed that the following two certifications are classified under the eight-level system as detailed in Legal Notice 347/2005 and the level descriptors of the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF) and the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF).

The Certificate awarded on successful completion of the seven ECDL Core Modules offered by ECDL Malta and awarded by the ECDL Foundation is referenced to Level Three of the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) for Lifelong Learning.

The Expert Certificate awarded on successful completion of the four Advanced ECDL Modules offered by ECDL Malta and awarded by the ECDL Foundation is referenced to Level Four of the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) for Lifelong Learning.

*The MQF determines the exit points of qualifications. The entry requirements to programmes of study are at the discretion of the education and training providers.
